Description

Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 18650 Mod

The Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 Box Mod by Jay Bo Designs follows the original design of the RX200 series and adds the unique ability to have a dual or triple battery configuration (sold separately). A dual battery back cover is included which allows for a much more compact size. The RX 2/3 can fire up to 150 watts in a dual battery configuration and up to 200 watts in a triple battery configuration. The RX2/3 features a much larger and clear OLED display screen. The user friendly OLED display screen also now features a switchable battery indicator which allows you to choose from a percentage or a battery life bar indicator. Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) mode is also now available for use as well. Designed by Jay Bo, the RX2/3 utilizes the Reuleaux design with the triangular shaped chassis, creating a svelte form factor that integrates three 18650 batteries in series. The lockable battery back cover allows you to switch to a dual or triple battery configuration with ease. The RX2/3 features the same recessed control face as the Reuleaux, providing a sleek and organized face while improving ergonomic feel and handling.

Designed in conjunction with Wismec and Joyetech, the chipset features an equally powerful 200W maximum output, with full temperature control that is compatible with Ni200 Nickel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel heating materials. This chipset is also upgradeable via firmware upgrades, giving it the ceiling for future improvements in output technology. Building upon the smash hit predecessor, the Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 Box Mod by Jay Bo Designs maintains the revolutionary design and chassis of the original while implementing an equally powerful chipset, creating a device that cuts no corners while being offered at an astounding price point.

Please note, the RX2/3 requires (2 or 3) High Amp 18650 Batteries (Sold Separately)

Really liked it while it worked October 11, 2017

It hung in there for about 6 or 7 months until a known problem where a wire comes loose and you get a "check battery" indicator. Won't get it again until they address the problem. On principle, I'm not buying a product I might have to dismantle to solder a wire back on. It's a shame because this was my favorite mode.

Would definitely buy again August 14, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Erie, PA United States
I have no complaints so far with the RX2/3, the battery cover at first is hard to put on and remove but once you get the hang of it, it isn't bad, although it is nice knowing if it falls on the floor my batteries aren't gonna come out. I currently have 3 battery's in and it is maxing out at 172.3 wats, but I believe it's because it's maxing out at 9.00 volts at that wattage. I have yet to build a lower ohm build to see what it can do. But so far I like this product, no rattle, big screen, and the option to use 2 or 3 batterys, would definitely buy again
