I guess its working November 25, 2013 Reviewer: Christopher from Los Angeles, CA United States   Used for a week but never tripped the shortstop (thats a good thing obviously). I paid 10 bucks for the peace of mind knowing a hard short wont screw me up so long as this shortstop is in place. I positioned it on the negatives of my 18350s in my magneto. Awesome little fuse! November 14, 2013 Reviewer: Mike C from Draper, UT United States   Gives me peace of mind knowing I have a backup incase one of my builds goes wrong. Fits nicely in most of my telescopic mods with a flat top battery. I bought 2 just so I can have a backup. Haven't needed that backup yet. Was this review helpful to you?

ShortStop November 6, 2013 Reviewer: Larry from Nashville, TN United States   Great little censer. Works well with my unprotected AW 18650s Not worried about the batteries over heating now. I know that the ShortStop will keep the battery from over heating. Great product. Whats great is after it does its job and cools off I can reuse it and I don't have to worry about buying another one. ShortStop October 18, 2013 Reviewer: Steven Hinkle from Grand Rapids, MI United States   This device works just as it said it would. I stacked a couple of 18350's in  K-200 that wasn't working right in the first place. When I put the ShortStop in it the K-200 still sizzled but the current fell off as the mod warmed up. After a cooling period it sizzled back up. Great safety protection. Was this review helpful to you?

Failed to activate at 6+ amps. October 13, 2013 Reviewer: Doug Beatty from Magnolia, DE United States   UPDATE - tested the Short Stop with a .6 ohm coil and 3000 mah Panasonic 18650 unprotected fresh off the charger indicating 4.2 volts by checking with my SID. There was no noticeable heating up or loss of power, had to be over six amps. Not impressed even a little bit. Don't know about dead shorts or over 10 amps, but it didn't do squat at 6+ amps. Haven't tested this by shorting a battery, likely won't. The advertising led me to believe that this device was of a protective nature, but the disclaimer shipped with it was a bummer.  I'm thinking maybe the fuses that have to be replaced if I continue to get into unprotected batteries on the mechs. no complaints September 25, 2013 Reviewer: robert myers from ashtabula, OH United States   Recently placed my first order. And found a Holocron Short Stop for almost a give away price. Did not take long to jump on it.!  $8.25 for a fuse you never have to replace. Are you kidding? Could not get an order in fast enough. i gave my 2cent for safety fuse to a friend who was vapeing unprotected on his mech. Russian Roulette!  And told him of the short stop.  All in all, i had a good experience with Myvaporstore.  i give them only five stars because i found the shipping a bit Tardy.!   However after looking around i found good prices. and some unbeleviable specials that go faster than a jet. i'll be checking back here from time to time.  P.S. if you purchase the Magneto version 1.. there is a replacement cap to purchase.. So no need to purchase a whole new Magneto.. And it's the version 2 cap.. Has Ego threading and brass floating center pin,   Replacement cap is from Smoketech. ! just want to get that out there for those who are stuck with the crappy cap Was this review helpful to you?

It's good September 16, 2013 Reviewer: JerseyB. from Southern CA   It doesn't fit in all my mechanicals though, I've only tried it in 2 with 18350 tube and it was too big, not enough space. I think it will work on my Nemesis though with the extra ring. But great price and reusable! Was this review helpful to you?
