"Smart" technology? I'd rather adjust it myself. May 16, 2020 Reviewer: Scott Mallonee from Charlotte, NC United States   The 1.2 ohm coils are great if you use a different mod. This thing will burn them up in a heartbeat - even if you prime them well, let them sit for a while. The wattage is just too high for those coils. It even comes with the 1.2 ohm coil pre-installed, setting you up for a burnt coil right out of the box! The 0.8 ohm coils work much better with the battery, and provide a good MTL vape, but they drain your e-liquid fast. Plus, these coils have a very warm vape - too warm for me. The Zlide tank itself is fantastic, though I much prefer there 1.2 ohm coils at a lower wattage. The real problem with this kit is the battery. It's "smart" and it's supposed to decide on the wattage for you, but unfortunately it doesn't make good decisions. I think I can do that better myself. I might as well ditch the battery, but I'll hold on to the Zlide tank for use with another mod. Was this review helpful to you?

Not bad at all March 3, 2020 Reviewer: Seth from TN United States   Would be 5 stars but the 1.2 ohm coil had a burnt taste after 6 hours. It could have just been a bad coil or the device might not regulate itself to 13watts like it says it does on a 1.2 ohm coil, who knows. Once I switched to the 0.8 ohm coil everything has been great and it has last a week so far. It's not the most restrictive hit but with the air vent closed down to one hole it is restrictive enough. I haven't noticed and leaks and it hasn't done that painfully hot pop like some devices. Was this review helpful to you?

Great tank, mod malfunction January 19, 2020 Reviewer: Robert Dues from Bakersfield, CA United States   Zlide tank is nice, flavor is great as always with zenith coils. However, the mod I received doesn't regulate to 13 watts when I use the 1.6 ohm coil. It stays at 16 watts no matter what. I prefer the 1.6 so this is a problem for me. They burn out in half a day. With .8 coil it works great, tastes great and gives the same long lasting performance I've come to love from the zenith platform. I'm sure I could return it and see if this mod is simply defective, but what a hassle. Instead I'm just running the tank on a Kroma mod. Was this review helpful to you?
