Good, but often misunderstood mod August 1, 2020 Reviewer: Peter Carlson from Bristol, CT United States   The Adept is an easy to use, tough MTL mod, ideally matched to Innokin Z-Coils (The Zlide & Zenith tanks).  Nice 3,000 mah battery and very outdoor friendly.  The problem comes in when folks look at the Adept as a general-purpose mod...it isn't!  The wattage range on the Adept is clearly stated as 11 to 17 watts. A previous reviewer complained when the Innokin Ajax tank (A direct lung tank with coils designed for 40+ watts) would not work and concluded her Adept was "defective".  It is not. The Adept is designed to be an easy to use, durable, low-wattage mod. You have to match it up with an appropriate tank (The Ares 2 and other MTL RTAs will also work well with the Adept). Didnt work July 30, 2020 Reviewer: Shana Taylor from East Taunton, MA United States   I purchased this item along with the AJAX tank which should be compatible with the mod, correct threading and everything. I have tried 4 different tanks (brand new) with this device and not ONE has worked. I contacted customer support and was not able to return or replace it due to them not allowing refunds. EVEN THOUGH clearly this device was defective. $60 wasted, very disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?

LOVED this mod. 4 months later........ May 23, 2020 Reviewer: Virginia from Thibodaux , LA United States   Love this mod. Size is great. The rubber casing really helps if you are rough with your mod. The perfect companion is Aspire Naitilus II. Big smoke but so smooth. Holds a charge super long and charges up lightening quick.     Here is the fatal problem. There is a fault in the design of the button to vape. It’s almost flush with the box and at the beginning that was fine. As it gets some where and tear, the spring back on that button is almost non-existent.  I can’t get power to hit unless I Manipulate it in all directions. It’s pretty much dead now.   Is 4 months the life span of this mod?  I’d be good with it if I had Planned ahead and had a back up.   Needs a remodel of the design. Was this review helpful to you?

Seems durable.  You are limited from 14 - 17 watts but that's perfect for the z coils I use.  The only downfall is the charging port on the bottom. Vaping pretty good! February 12, 2020 Reviewer: radar from TX United States   Seems like this will be a good mod for me.  Fits the hand well and I appreciate the rubberized outer shell as it's comfortable and grippy.  Battery life is not as good as the MVP models but it is strong.  I like the fire button its solid and easy to tell it has activated.  Settings are straightforward and easy to readjust.  It charges up quickly and while your finger probably will cover the battery remaining lights when you fire up...it's fairly easy to tell your battery level.    So far I am enjoying this mod better than the new MVP 5 because it has fewer bells and things I don't need while vaping (a flashlight?!- really guys?!) and because of that it makes the Adept a nice size and totally functional in my opinion.  The only fault I can see is the battery charge port is on the bottom.  I've never been in the habit of laying my rig on it's side while in use; so this makes the "vape while charging" impossible.
